The Event of Shah Abdul Rahim

The father of Shah Wall Ullah (the most famous educationalist of the subcontinent) Hazard Shah Abdul Rahim of Dehlivi stated،44 "Once he was suffered into a serious disease which prolonged for such a long time that he became hopeless about his survival. During my suffering, once so happened that Holy Prophet Hazard Muhammad (PBUH) met me in my dream and asked about my problem. The blessing of meeting with Holy Prophet Hazard Muhammad (PBUH) cast a spell over me. There was a strange feeling that cannot be expressed. Holy Prophet Hazard Muhammad (PBUH) was standing near my cot and his face was bowing upon me. I was shedding tears that made the clothes of Prophet (PBUH) wet".
This condition turned into perfect calm & quiet. At this moment a strange wish appeared to me to get the sacred & a pious hair of the Prophet's beard. The Holy Prophet Hazard Muhammad (PBUH) touched his hand with his beard and gifted me two of his hair. Holy Prophet Hazard Muhammad (PBUH) gave me the happy news of my recovery and blessed me a long and peaceful life.
On wakening, I demanded the lamp. The sacred hair belonging to Holy Prophet Hazard Muhammad (PBUH) was not in my hands. This made me much dejected and disappointed. I got to sleep once more. The Holy Prophet Hazard Muhammad (PBUH) met me again and ordered me to discover those sacred hairs under the pillow and over my bed. The sacred hair had a unique feature. These remained embraced for each one, but separated on recitation of Darood Sharif.
Once three unbelievers came and refused to admit the truth and its miracle. I was not ready to display them as the proof. The dispute arose and I had to practice it unhappily and unwillingly. As the pair was displayed in the sunlight, a patch of cloud appeared from nowhere and provided shadow over it. It was most amazing as the weather was sunny. One of the unbelievers asked for forgiveness but the other said that it was merely a happening.
